On a Wednesday is the story about Kyle Stanton and Courtney Johnson. When they initially meet Kyle Stanton is one of the star football players and cockiest playboys on campus. Courtney is one of the cheerleaders, but her true passion is for sports journalism. This story begins their senior year but continues as a second chance romance several years later as part of an agreement between the two.Kyle shows up during her surprise birthday party and that is what starts the entire ball rolling on their second chance romance. At the time Kyle finds himself in desperate need of his best friend. Both him and Courtney are extremely surprised at the events that occur at the party.The story is told in both POV’s as well as in present timeline while primarily going back to their senior year to give their backstory.Kyle has been attracted to Courtney since they first meet their freshman year but do to events in Courtney’s life, she has actually forgotten their true introduction. Due to this Kyle can joke about it and Courtney never believes him until she recalls it at the end. Courtney ends up having to interview Kyle for her thesis and they agree to meet every Wednesday until it is completed. He is very honest with her though he admits it is only because he thinks that her writing merits is honesty.This story although you think it might be similar to On a Tuesday, it reads and plays out quite differently. This story is very light and enjoyable to read..I devoured it in one sitting (stayed up all night because I just could not put it down)! I would tell anyone to read this book in a heartbeat!I received an ARC and have voluntarily left this honest review.
